Electric Vehicle Survey

EV Charing

As the UK phases out the production of petrol and diesel vehicles by 2030, electric vehicles will play a crucial role in helping the UK reach net zero by 2050.

I want to ensure that the Workington constituency is not left behind as the country embarks on its Green Industrial Revolution.

As part of my campaign to build a network of EV charging facilities across the constituency, I am interested to know where there’s a demand for EV chargers.

Whether you already own an electric vehicle, or are considering an EV purchase, please complete the survey below to help pinpoint EV charger demand across the Workington constituency.

Electric Vehicle Survey

  • Your details
How often do you use your current vehicle?
Roughly, how many miles do you drive a week?
Do you own or have use of an electric vehicle?
Is this the only vehicle you regularly use?
Where do you primarily charge your electric vehicle?
Would you consider purchasing an electric vehicle in the next 5 years?
Do you frequently charge your electric vehicle outside of the Workington constituency, if so, where?

Are you a homeowner?
What type of parking do you have at your property?
Would you have the landowner's permission to install charging facilities?
From 1 – 5, please rate how happy you are with charging facilities in the Workington constituency (1 being very disappointed, 5 being very content)
If you were to use an electric vehicle, other than at home, where would you be most likely to charge your vehicle if charging facilities were made available?

How soon would you consider purchasing an electric vehicle?
Would you be reluctant to visit areas with limited charging facilities?
