My campaign to tackle Grot Spots in our communities was started due to regular discussions on litter and other untidy parts of our area.
OUR LOCAL HERITAGE
I was born and raised in Workington, and I love our part of Cumbria for all of its rich heritage. I have been involved with groups such as Workington Heritage Group.
Since I became your MP, I have often see individuals plead ignorance to our history as an excuse for their poor political decisions, and so I launched this section on my website to provide an online catalogue of some of our areas history.
